ABOUT US
Turning Interest Into Action
We are a group of immigrant parents living in the Sunset Park and Dyker Heights neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York, two neighborhoods with a large percentage of immigrant residents who do not speak English. We organize our members to get involved in community service events, particularly events involving cleaning up the community streets and parks. Through our actions, we seek to promote social and community activism among immigrant community members and help deepen the bond between parents and children by having them engage in actions together. Also, we want to inspire other immigrants to get involved in the community and improve the environment that we live in.
PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIP ASSOCIATION
With the support of the community, along with the continued efforts of parents and their children, Parent-Child Relationship Association has become a go-to resource for the sharing of information on all kinds of family gatherings, outdoor activities, and provider of educational services. This is done mainly by word of mouth and social networking platforms. PCR will continue to grow and actively explore different possibilities in order to maximize the achievements and milestones for a happy childhood for our future generation.

Our mission is to build a strong community by empowering immigrant families to participate in community projects and increase civic participation.

The goal is to help our children improve their social skills and sense of responsibility, which is an important foundation that should be set in early life. Together, parents and their children can help build a better and more harmonious community environment!
