947 57th Street Volunteers will teach children aged kindergarten to 6th-grade math, writing, and reading and accompany them in activities like arts and crafts, board games, etc. This is a scheduled program, and volunteers must attend consistently. Interviews are mandatory. Duration: 7/6-8/31 (Weekdays) Time: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Morning shift) or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (afternoon shift) Qualifications: - Be 14+ years old - Active PCR Volunteer for AT LEAST 3 months - Language: Ability to understand Chinese (recommended), Proficiency in English Requirements: - Consistent Attendance - Patient & Friendly - Active Participation - Communication Skills - Lead Kids by Example Contact VOLUNTEER.PCRNYC@GMAIL.COM by email if you are interested.
