Service Description

Historic Exploration of New York (HENY) is a program aimed to acclimate immigrant families and encourage them to integrate into their new community. The program offers tours of historic New York sites and infrastructure, offering valuable insights to immigrant families about various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. These tours are led by PCR staff and multilingual volunteers. 15 Volunteers needed to chaperone children on guided tours around different NYC sites. 📆 Dates: Monday, 6/30 Tuesday, 7/1 Wednesday, 7/2 Thursday, 7/3 🕚 Estimated Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM 📍 Locations: TBD Requirements: - Must be able to act as a guide for children - Responsible and good communication skills - 16+ years old - have PCR uniform and ID card Transportation and food costs for volunteers are covered. Volunteers MUST register for this event. Space is limited and a confirmation email will be sent prior to the event.
