The first week of our new program Neighborhood in Motion, brought participants together to get to know one another and begin sharing their stories. We watched example videos, reflected on what it's like to live around Sunset Park, and talked about the places that hold special meaning in our community. We're excited to continue exploring these stories together in the weeks ahead!

It was wonderful working alongside fellow community organizations and dedicated volunteers to help cleanup 18th Avenue. Thank you to District Leader Joyce Xie for inviting us!

Building a lifelong love for reading starts early! Children ages 0–5 and their caregivers came together at our recent Story Group to read, play, and build crucial early literacy and social skills. We love seeing our community learn together—thank you to all who joined, and we hope to see you at our next session!

Thank you to everyone who joined the online lecture, "Why Do We Overthink After Becoming Parents?" From worrying about our children’s future to racing thoughts at bedtime, overthinking can take a toll on parents. Together, we explored practical strategies to reduce anxiety, ease mental overload, and create more space to be present with our children. A special thank you to Garden of Hope for the insightful presentation, and to everyone who joined us!

Families browsed a wide selection of free books for children, giving them the opportunity to discover new stories and develop a love of reading. This summer, let's reduce screen time and encourage more time for reading, imagination, and learning.
