Street tree care

On 2/23/19, PCR (Parent Child Relationship) partnered up with NYC Parks Stewardship to help take care of the trees in our community. This is 2019 first time that PCR volunteers are involved with tree-caring. There are over 4 million trees in New York. These trees live all around us and our community. PCR volunteers helped clear the weeds surrounding the trees, cleaned up the trash, and added nutrient into the soil for the trees. We have taken care of about 25 to 30 trees today in three hours. The added nutrient will allowed the trees to develop better in the spring.
