Brooklyn Cyclones AAPI Night

We had an amazing time at Brooklyn Cyclones AAPI Night! Thank you to Brooklyn Cyclones, Homecrest Community Services, Inc., United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, Chinese-American Planning Council, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. From lion dances to kung fu performances, it was a beautiful night of culture, community, and fun! ⚾️❤️

Taste of Home

🥘 Our intergenerational program, in collaboration with New York Cares and Chinese-American Planning Council, has come to a close, and what a heartwarming journey it's been! Teens and seniors talked about their culture, shared their experiences, and brought home more than just recipes—they left with new friendships and memories.

Seeing Happy

SeeingHappy: 📸☀️ We're excited to bring SeeingHappy back as part of our Summer Teen Leadership Program! Over six weeks, teens dive into a photography-based journey of self-expression and reflection. Teens share their unique perspectives of the world through photos, and each story helps us understand the world a little better.

Thank you to @seeing.happy for collaborating with us the last time—we're excited to bring SeeingHappy to even more people this summer!

Neighborhood Cleanup at Coney Island

We teamed up with Homecrest Community Services, Inc. to clean the sidewalks in Coney Island! It was a hot, sunny day, but our amazing volunteers showed up to beautify the community together! Thank you to Councilman Justin Brannan for his support!

Neighborhood Cleanup

🏮 8th Avenue is a Chinatown, a place full of culture, history, and hardworking immigrant families. As a community, it’s our shared responsibility to keep our the spaces we share clean and safe.

Thank you to Councilmember Alexa Aviles, Homecrest Community Services, Inc., and all the amazing volunteers who helped keep our streets clean and welcoming.

Summer Enrichment Trips

☀️🌊 On our first day of our Summer Enrichment trip, we brought the kids to Brooklyn Bridge Park. The kids had a wonderful time running around the playground and swings, and enjoyed the view of the ocean.

On day 2 of our Summer Enrichment trip, we went to the American Museum of Natural History. The kids loved seeing the dinosaurs, butterflies, sea and land animals, and learning about different cultures and outer space. It was a fun day full of discovery and excitement!

🦁🐒 On Day 3 of our adventure, the kids explored the Bronx Zoo — spotting animals, learning new facts, and swinging in nearby playgrounds for some extra fun! 🌳🐘

🌿 Day 4 took us to the High Line! The kids explored the elevated park, enjoyed the views, and were especially excited to see “The Dinosaur”🐦 ✨

HENY Bronx Zoo

HENY Bronx Zoo Trip: 🌿🐒 On Wednesday, we brought families and our summer camp students to the Bronx Zoo as part of PCR's Historic Exploration of New York program. Together, we enjoyed the nice weather and saw all the animals in the zoo!

Summer Beyond

🎨☀️ Summer Beyond is in full swing at Leif Ericson Park & Sunset Park! Join us every Saturday at Leif Ericson Park and Sunday at Sunset Park for arts & crafts, sports games, board games, and more all summer long! 🌳🏀🎲
