Asian American Federation Impact Awards ~ 亚裔美国人联合会影响力奖

The Asian American Federation hosted an Award Ceremony! It was wonderful to see so many inspiring leaders in the Asian American community come together. Congratulations to the Asian American Federation for its 36th Anniversary and to Catherine Chen, its new executive director!

亚裔美国人联合会举办了颁奖典礼！很高兴看到亚裔美国人社区中如此多鼓舞人心的领袖齐聚一堂。祝贺亚裔美国人联合会成立36周年，并祝贺新任执行董事Catherine Chen！承受压力的移民家长来说，这样的课程提供了情绪出口，也增强了自我调节与互相陪伴的能力。

HENY Governor Island Trip ~ 总督岛旅行

Families joined us for a memorable day at Governor Island as part of our Historic Exploration of New York (HENY) program!! We explored the island's history, enjoyed the fresh air, and shared meaningful moments. Heartfelt thanks to our amazing volunteers for making the experience even more special!

On June 9th, we participated in the SYEP Job Fair. We’re so excited to welcome our incoming summer interns. Can’t wait for them to help with our programs and events, make a real difference, and serve our immigrant community.

Taste of Home ~ 家的味道

Bridging generations through language, food, and stories In partnership with Chinese-American Planning Council and New York Cares , we've brought teens and seniors together to learn English, share favorite recipes, and connect across cultures!

通过语言、食物和故事连接几代人我们与美籍华人规划委员会和纽约关怀组织合作，让青少年和老年人聚在一起学习英语、分享喜爱的食谱并进行跨文化交流！

"The Courage to Be Disliked" Workshop

Just wrapped our first few sessions of "The Courage to Be Disliked" Book Club! Already feeling the power of letting go, setting boundaries, and stepping into our true selves--together. Very excited for the journey ahead!

Youth Leadership Council Summit ~ 青年领袖委员会峰会

Witnessed the productive and amazing community impact of PCR’s YLC Leadership Council and other YLC groups at the summit! It’s truly inspiring to see young leaders come together, collaborate, and make a measurable difference in our community.

New York Immigration Coalition Fair

2025年南布鲁克林亚裔美国人和太平洋岛民传统月庆祝活动

It’s not easy being an immigrant—language barriers, limited access to resources, and so much more. Huge thanks to The New York Immigration Coalition, NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, NYC Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, and NYC Council District 38 for standing with the immigrant community.

We’re proud to bring joy through arts & crafts for the kids, giving them a day to just be kids. The event also shared free food, family essentials, and health & hygiene supplies—thank you for showing up in such a meaningful way.

移民生活不易——语言障碍、资源匮乏等等。非常感谢纽约移民联盟、纽约市青年和社区发展部、纽约市议会议长艾德里安·亚当斯以及纽约市第38区议会对移民社区的支持。

Park Cleanup 义工项目

Our volunteers are working hard every weekend at Leif Ericson Park, Sunset Park, and McKinley Park. Come be part of the effort to beautify and keep our local parks a clean, safe space for all!

四月的每个周末，PCR的义工们都活跃在Leif Ericson Park、Sunset Park与McKinley Park，为城市环境贡献心力。从捡拾垃圾、清理杂草、整理园区，到与居民互动宣传环保信息——我们都用行动守护我们共同生活的社区。
